Ways to improve health include use of organic foods, nutritional supplements, exercise, and times of complete relaxation.

To maintain good health and overcome sickness, it is necessary to get enough minerals, vitamins, enzymes, and amino acids, and avoid the toxic chemicals which are found in many foods.

The important health reasons why organic foods should be chosen whenever possible can mean the difference between a long life of radiant health or a life with painful debilitating diseases. Everyone in modern society who depends upon commercially grown foods will in some way eventually be adversely affected by foods treated with chemical pesticides. To be health-producing and completely non-toxic, produce must be organic. Organic produce and farming has been increasing in popularity and the more the public learns about the health risks of pollutants such as pesticides the more the demand for organic produce will continue to grow.

Various Types of Healthy Relaxation

Relaxation can include not only getting the recommended eight hours of nightly sleep but also resting from digestion of heavy foods and artificial sugars. The foods that digest quickest and easiest are fruits and vegetables, especially when not combined with proteins and starches.

Meats, nuts, beans, dairy food, and starchy foods take the longest time to digest. Any sweets combined with starches, carbohydrates, or proteins will cause delayed digestion, and will often bring about food fermentation and indigestion. The more types of foods that are combined at one meal, the more hours will be needed for digestion and the more likely indigestion will result.

Complete rest also involves staying away from very loud noises, and emotional upsets. The human body also has to work to deal with attempting elimination of toxic chemicals found in many household cleaners, laundry soap and fabric softeners, cosmetics, and aerosols.

Complete healing is often prohibited by the enormous amount of physiological work of removing toxins from the body. In most instances, there is so much exposure to toxic chemicals from many sources that some stay in the body and are never completely eliminated. Chemical pollutants greatly contribute to various diseases arising from poisoning due to the buildup in the human body of chemicals such as mercury, fluoride, pesticides, preservatives, and other artificial food additives.

Nutrients and Exercise for Physical and Emotional Health

Getting enough sunshine not only increases the amount of vitamin D intake but can add to healthy, natural relaxation. It may be necessary to also take a vitamin D supplement either daily or every other day to get a sufficient amount of vitamin D. Most physicians, all naturopathic or homeopathic, and many medical doctors, the allopathic doctors, are willing to help patients ensure that they are getting enough vitamins and other nutrients to maintain good health.

Unless phytoplankton is used in the diet, a natural multivitamin supplement taken either daily or every other day is probably a necessity to maintaining good health. Due to the mineral depletion of commercial farming soils, and the nutrient density of the oceans, the best single source of nutritional supplementation is marine phytoplankton.

Exercising even just a few minutes every other day can improve physical and emotional health. Aerobic activity can be done outdoors or indoors, such as when jogging in place. Aerobic refers to any activity which causes faster and heavier breathing and increases the oxygen getting into the lungs and the cells of the body. Increase of oxygen improves physical health and also emotional health and happiness.

Staying as close to nature as possible, and avoiding toxic chemicals whenever possible is one of the most effective ways to maintain good health and overcome health problems. Choosing to be happier by looking at the positive side of every situation as much as possible is also a way to decrease the stress which contributes to illness. After getting used to healthy foods and other healthy habits the results are increasing happiness and other improvements in both emotional and physical aspects of life.
