Humility and love which Jesus embodied is the opposite of the prideful egotism which caused the fall of the devil and many humans.
Historical scriptures show Jesus and also those of a positive eternity are humble followers of God but Satan is the exact opposite, the egotistical leader of the lies who God will destroy. In St Matthew 19:30 and 20:16, and St Luke 13:30 the scriptures say those who are first will be last, and the last will be first in eternity.
Those who have read the bible know that the scriptures say Jesus came for us an example to find salvation and the devil set the opposite example. Jesus put great importance upon Humility. The quality of humility can give the highest inner peace, great love, joy and lasting happiness and can immensely improve personal and business relationships, self control, and help with all types of problems. Humility and it's great blessings most often comes with a peaceful, quiet, healthy lifestyle, and giving God great thanks and praises in prayer and in conversation with others, and with the introspection from meditation which brings automatic help in all aspects of life.
Jesus Indicated that humility is the quality which can make a human greatest of all humanity in the Kingdom of Heaven.
In a most informative lesson about the quality that can give happiness now and throughout eternity, the bible book of St Matthew, verses 18:1-6 Jesus was asked who is greatest in the kingdom of heaven, and He replied with the following. "At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea."
Prideful egotism is destructive of happiness now and for eternity in the next life.
Egotism, being the opposite of humility, will give the opposite results of humility. Prideful egotism is the state of being of oneself without God, living in a lie, which can easily destroy any relationship with God. It is behind the most serious of arguments in personal and business relationships, most addictions to drugs, lies, and other negative things that boost the ego. The opposite of the humility of Jesus and those who follow Him are those who follow the example of the devil and want to have power over others. They are dependent upon lies and often contribute to negative things such as slander, violence, diseases and deaths. Satan's egotism has even caused many angels to become the earthy demons that God has promised to destroy.
Egotism causes It's victims to lie and Satan is described and known as the father of the lie, a liar, murderer, deceiver, accuser, slanderer, and the Evil One.
"He was a murderer from the beginning, and did not abide in the truth, because there is no truth in him." Satan is referred to in bible scripture as the ruler of the devils, the ruler of this age, murderer, the accuser, the slanderer, and the father of the lie, and other negative terms.
Beware of involvement with earthly wealth since scriptures note that it is another way to find personal happiness almost impossible in eternity.
In St Matthew 19:24 and in St Luke 18:25 the scriptures say it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven, but with God all things are possible. Power is known to corrupt humans and people who obtain much earthly riches sometimes desire power over the lives of other humans which is a position that belongs only to God and thus would be destructive. Since humility is the greatest human trait to ensure a happy eternity, and it gives truth and makes those blessed with it closer to God, it's opposite of ego pride and all it's traits should be avoided by anyone who is in any way concerned with their own position and happiness or unhappiness throughout eternity.
